The Praga South district lies of the eastern banks of the Wisla River, near the City Centre. It is home to around 180,000 residents, which comprises about ten percent of the city’s population. Praga South is currently amid an intensive renewal process. Over the last few years, many young artists have come to reside here, adding to the youthful and bohemian atmosphere.
One of the trendiest points in the quarter is the Soho Factory – an industrial area converted into a vibrant centre containing art galleries, architecture and designer offices, restaurants, supermarkets and other amenities.
The Borough's distance from the centre is about a 10-minute drive, and there’s the subway and other public transport options available for commute. Praga was recently featured by one of the UK’s leading newspapers (The Independent) as one of the 10 coolest quarters in Europe.
